You Don’t Have to Be Everything

Hey Friends, I have a poem in this forthcoming anthology,

Cover of YDHTBE

The poem, Lost & Found, which is in my second book, Grass Whistle, is about my own coming of age, and having it included in this anthology feels like a cosmic resolution to the reason I started writing my Pokey Mama blog o so long ago, when I was struggling to understand my new life as a Mother AND…

Anyway, it’s a very cool anthology with poems by Maya Angelou, Elizabeth Acevedo, Sharon Olds, Naomi Shihab Nye, and Mary Oliver and Amanda Gorman (unless you live under a rock you may have heard of her), as well as lesser lights like yours truly. It’s a great book for the younger people in your life (and maybe you, too!) You can read more about it and pre-order the book here.
