Thanks to y’all, I’m about half way toward my goal for CNA!
And hey, I’m writing every day, which is also a gift. I’ve started a series of linked prose poems, about the pandemic, and what’s going on in my personal life these days. Kind of like a golden shovel or crown of sonnets (if you know what those are) but…not. At least not yet. So thank you for the donations AND the inspiration!
So to recap–I’m doing the 30 Poems in November fundraiser for the Center for New Americans. CNA welcomes and serves immigrants in Western Massachusetts with free English classes and a range of support services. This year, we aim to raise $50,000. My personal goal is $1000.
I try to write a poem a day for 30 days and you (hopefully) sponsor me, thereby helping to raise important funds for a great community-based group. You can find the link to give under my name here.
Please give what you can. Any amount you give is important and appreciated.
Do it for Ruth. You know she’d approve. Thanks!
