once again I have the pleasure of in the 30 Poems in November fundraiser to benefit the Center for New Americans.
The deal is, I promise to write a poem a day for the month of November. In exchange, you pledge your support to the Center for New Americans, an organization that does much-needed work in our community. Center for New Americans welcomes and serves immigrants, refugees, migrants, and asylum-seekers in Western Massachusetts. They offer free classes in English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL), career preparation assistance, support services and immigration legal services.
The goal this year is to raise $65,000, and my personal goal is to raise $1000 of that total. I hope you’ll join me in supporting these much-needed services in our community. Here’s the link to donate. Thank you!
